Vintage
My dear readers,
What a curious attraction I got for vintage. More fashion goes on, more a return to the roofs permit us to revisit styles, colors and cuts from another period. I always feel a certain pleasure and a surprise when I see from the Derby Alma’s lobby, pencil and cofee in hand, the daily parade of Rapp avenue.
From bow ties well-centered to frightened court shoes, it’s delighting to watch women and men proud to differentiate them with taste ou stylistic research. Current events have shown us that fashion could be timeless, that methods and theories on this field come from a real artistic research, origin of infinite creation.
Revisiting the great classics of fashion
I decided to take part in the Vintage Fair, an "after fashion-week" held in March in Paris, before spending a few days in Nantes, Rennes or Bordeaux To continue to discover what vintage is.
I find fashion today sometimes too sulky. Even if in many respects this evolution is perfectly adapted to the needs that the fashion world has felt for a few years, certain aspects disturb me and lead me to think that sometimes classicism can be just as magnificent as modern eccentricism.
That's why I decided that, after these future visits to the vintage shows, I would participate in various auctions in order to find accoutrements that I could re-adapt with taste to contemporary fashion. Finally, is not that vintage?
My dear readers, keep in mind that fashion may be like good wine, just know how to keep it and get it out at the right time.
See you soon!
