A universe
Today after a long shopping day, I was thinking. Then I told myself: is it by having style that we are fashionable? I personally think that fashion and style are different.
For me, fashion is above all a universe, a very private sphere which often particularly dazzles women… Fashion is individual, everyone can understand it in their own way and this is thanks to what fashion shares, to its own codes and thanks to the implication of the society. Finally, more than aestheticism, I think that fashion is a way to reinvent pieces and to reinvent ourselves. Because fashion is a standard of thoughts and living, this is not just clothes, it is a need of expression.
This is « my style »
You girls, have certainly got into a boutique after having a crush on a top in the storefront and saying out loud “this is my style!” to your best friend (and she is actually laughing at you at this moment). Yes, we understand each other… Well, this is this expression of emotion that a piece can share, the fact that we are comfortable with.
I don’t think that we can develop our style by following fashion. Style is something more personal, something which is in us and something we can develop throughout our life. More than to speak about style, I prefer to speak about clothing identity. Because a person’s style is proper, it cannot please to everyone. The most important thing is to express yourself in your clothes and to have fun with fashion.
